I was looking for that room. I searched for a community of women who were building, inventing, pitching, failing, and trying again. A room with women who understood the particular kind of fire it takes to create something from nothing while the odds are stacked against you.
I couldn't find it.
So I built it.
That's why FIRE — Female Inventors & Rising Entrepreneurs — exists. Not as a networking group. Not as a support circle. But as a force. A MOVEMENT, and ECOSYSTEM of women who refuse to accept that the future of innovation and funding looked like the past.
You are here because you have an idea worth fighting for. Because you've felt the sting of being underestimated, underfunded, or overlooked…and you kept going anyway. Because somewhere inside you, there is a flame that hasn't gone out. But, you don't have to do it alone anymore.
We are here to fan it.
